Afghanistan: The Opium Monopoly

I knew the grew opium in Afghanistan, but I had no idea that it accounted for pretty much ALL of the world's opium.

Once again showing you, despite war, terrorists and commie invasions, capitalism will thrive and is the ultimate economic power.

Looks like Bush's distraction of a war in Iraq led to a boom in the opium market.

I can't buy that, if that was the case there'd have been an increase in 2003, 2004 and 2005. Something unique happened in 2006.
