Because they patently refuse! I just listened to a radio interview with a disturbing media mogul type we have here in Canada (Moses Znaimer) and he wants to coin a new phrase for aging boomers: zoomers. Boomers who have the wealth and mobility to continue gallivanting around having hilarious hijinks, instead of being "condescended to" and forced to retire/halt conspicuous consumption/make their grandkids a damn cake or something.
But doesn't "zoomer" sound like some sort of radioactive, unkillable zombie??

i saw this earlier in the day on Drudge and almost lost my cookies. She wins the grossest looking woman award. Gag me with a pitch fork.....
