Friday Day Linkage

A feminist political party is like a green party - it shows they don't care about the population and are just a special interest group.

When liberals try to run and business and do math at the same time.

The consequences of artificial wombs.

Most people celebrate Christmas or their anniversary or have lives wherein spending time with their loved ones and families is what they look forward to.  This is what professional leftists look forward to in their lives.

Sad.

When I was a kid my Mom and sisters would celebrate "May Day" by making and delivering small bouquets of fresh flowers to all the old ladies in the neighborhood. Now we are subjected to organized and celebrated socialist marches straight out of the Soviet Union.

A Liberal running a small business is virtually impossible. Running a big corporation - where you are dealing with other people's money - is much more conducive to the Leftist mindset.

I can't believe the comic book guy is sticking around. I'd tell San Francisco to fuck off and move both stores to the suburbs as a money saver and a political statement.

Then again, I would never live in San Francisco, much less start a business there, and hopefully will never find myself within its borders. Actually, I'd prefer to just never go to California at all.

I find it funny that someone mentioned in the article that it is the very geeks who work at the large tech companies who buy his comic books. What delightful irony! I've met two types of people in San Francisco; those doing really well (who typically work for those large companies) and those who live in rent controlled areas under very shady conditions (working as staff in the upscale stores, teaching, etc and doing the Air B and B thing to get some money in; which I've read they're cracking down on. One such person literally put up bunk beds in their apartment and was renting them at 600 a month!). At some point you have to be honest with yourself as to whether you can afford to live in a city and when it is time to pack it up and leave.

“My jaw dropped. Eighty-thousand a year! I didn’t know that. I thought we were talking a small amount of money, something I could absorb.”

This guy runs a business? Astonishing.
